Hello there,

I have a issue with my computer again. My computer just crashed and it got a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) showing this message (I placed line numbers in front of each line so its easy to talk about it) :

|1 | A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
|2 | to your computer.
|3 |
|4 | If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,
|5 | restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
|6 | these steps:
|7 |
|8 | Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is
|9 | identified in the Stop message, disable the driver or check
|10| with the manufacturer for driver updates.Try changing video
|11| adapters.
|12|
|13| Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable
|14| BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need
|15| to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your
|16| computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
|17| select Safe Mode.
|18|

Its not the first time this happens, it already happened 3 times and i think its because i have a bad graphic card driver. i already updated it and this BSOD often comes up when i standby my computer. heres my computer specs:

  • manufacturer : Acer
  • model : Aspire 7741G
  • processor type : intel core i3
  • graphics : AMD Radeon HD 6370M, Up to 2234 MB HyperMemory
  • screen : 17.3" HD+ LED LCD
  • memory : 4 GB DDR3 Memory
  • hard disk : 750 GB HDD
  • battery : 6-cell Li-ion battery
my computer is 2 years old now and he's going quite well, but sometime laggy

Check that you have enough space on your hard drive, that sometimes triggers problems, i like to keep at least 100gb of free space and my laptop has never had a blue screen of death. make sure you remember to empty your recycle bin regularly and delete any unnecessary recordings, those are 2 ways i find useful.

Go through each step of this, it will clean files, clean your registry, etc. After you have done everything and if the problem still persists tell me: http://madgaming.eu/forum/index.php?topic=6809.0

I did everything in your tutorial and now my computer has better performances and it hasn't got any BSOD since I "cleaned" my computer. Thank you!
