How to re-install Windows 7 OEM?
« on: July 20, 2013, 02:42:25 PM »
My PC is really getting slow and Ben wrote this :

Reinstall your Operating System

The easiest thing you could do is re-install your operating system, most PCs have a menu you can load when you boot your PC. You can usually access this menu by pressing one of the function keys, for example on a Dell computer it would be F8.

Once there you can usually restore your PC back to its factory state. If you have things you want to keep you could store them on a external hard drive, a memory stick, etc. If you don't have one of these you could upload the things you need to a website.

So I wanted to reinstall my OS but I have an OEM version of Windows 7, which means it was already installed on my computer when I bought it. I have no installation disk so I can't re-install Windows 7. I have Windows 8 too but I really want to keep my good old Windows 7.

  • If at first you don't succeed, destroy the evidence!
